With the unique AccuDry System, air is pulled from front of the dehumidifier and the water is removed and collected in a catch bucket. This catch bucket is accessible from front. It comes with side handles and is easy to remove for emptying. The bucket has a cover to avoid spill. It features automatic overflow protection. The system has an indicator to inform that the water is full and delays operation until it is emptied. This dehumidifier is with automatic de-icer which senses when the coil is about to form ice and turns the compressor off. When the coil temperature increases enough, the de-icer allows the system to turn on and continue its functioning. It has adjustable humidistat that allows you to choose the dryness of the room.
Whirlpool AD40DSL 40 Pints Dehumidifier has 2 speed fan. It has direct drain hose connection for connecting it to a hose for drainage. This connector works with any garden hose and there is no need of carrying the bucket for emptying it. The dimension of this dehumidifier is 13 x15 x 24.5 inches. It is energy star rated and is offered with a warranty of one year.
